Continuous Play Mode (web)

Ability to view documents or play items, one after another

Note: This feature is supported on the desktop app, Chrome, Firefox, IE9 and higher (IE8 not compatible)

When viewing an item (document, video, or audio), you will see a dropdown with a counter in the upper left of the player.

If you tap on that dropdown, you will see the full list of items in that folder or collection, and a slider called Play mode that will default to Continuous.

If the next item is video or audio, when opened it will begin to play

How the platform will behave in continuous play mode (the default):

  • When the user reaches the end of a document and presses Next, the next item (document, audio, or video) will automatically open
  • When the user reaches the end of a video, the next item (document, audio, or video) will automatically open
  • If the next item is video or audio, it will automatically begin to play

How the platform will behave in single play mode:

  • When the user reaches the end of a document or video and presses Next, they will be presented with an overlay indicating that they've reached the end of the item, and gives them a preview of what is coming next.
