Second Screen Tool (Android)

The Second Screen tool offers users a host of presentation options. Below are a list of those options and instructions for how to use them.

To use the Second Screen tool, first you must connect your Android device to another screen with a physical cable.

With the Second Screen tool, you can choose to mirror or second screen your content.

  • Second Screen - displays content of the open item on the projected screen, without showing the menu controls and tools, still visible on the device's screen. This allows you continue to use the menu controls and tools, without revealing them to your audience.
  • Mirror - displays your device's screen, as is, on the projected screen.

Once you are connected and projecting onto a screen, open the settings on the Mediafly app

Select 'Settings' from the drop down options

Select the ' Secondary display output' options in the Settings menu

A window will open, presenting you with the following options:

  • Second Screen - displays content of the open item on the projected screen, without showing the menu controls and tools, still visible on the device's screen. This allows you continue to use the menu controls and tools, without revealing them to your audience.
  • Mirror - displays your device's screen, as is, on the projected screen.

To disable the Second Screen tool, simply disconnect your device from the cable connected to the second screen.
