Using SalesKit Meeting Tracker (iOS)
Saleskit Meeting Tracker enables salespeople to quickly capture results of a meeting and push that info into Salesforce, reducing the time and energy to store and record information.
NOTE: Meeting Tracker is a not a default feature. Please contact us to get it configured in your environment.
To begin tracking a new meeting, tap on the Meetings icon (1).
Tap Start Tracking a Meeting (2).
The Meetings icon will turn green (3) and now the meeting is being tracked.
You can present per usual within the app, navigating to and opening content, while the Meeting Tracker collects data in the background.
NOTE: Currently, Meeting Tracker collects the duration of the meeting along with a list of the items viewed.
If you would like to Pause tracking for a meeting for a period of time, tap Meetings icon and select Pause Meeting (4).
The Meetings icon will change to a Pause icon (5) to notify you that meeting tracking is currently on pause.
To being tracking a meeting again from being paused, tap on the Pause icon and select Resume tracking (6) from the panel.
When done tracking a meeting, click on the Meetings icon again and select Complete Meeting (7).
If you would like to discard a tracked meeting, swipe left on the meeting and tap Delete (8).
As a user tracks multiple meetings, the separate items will queue in the Meetings panel (9) until the user sends the meetings to Salesforce.
Once you are ready to send the tracked meeting info to Salesforce, tap the Meetings icon and click on the meeting (10) you want to send.
Upon initial use of this feature, you will be asked to log into Salesforce via a popup within the app.
Tap Allow (11) from the Access pop-up to continue.
You will arrive at the Meetings detail page. From here, you can:
- Associate the meeting with an account, contact and/or opportunity from your Salesforce instance (12)
- Add meeting notes (13)
- View the items presented during the meeting (14)
- Discard the tracked meeting (15)
- Continue to track the meeting (16)
Once done, tap Save the Meeting Details to Salesforce (17).
To associate the meeting with an account, content or opportunity from Salesforce, tap in the text field (18) and begin typing the related term.
Tap the + assocciated with the desired contact/opportunity/account; they will appear on the righthand side (19).
Click Done (20).
By clicking on View in the top right corner, a panel will appear with a list of the items presented (21).
Once you tap Save meeting in Salesfroce, a pop-up (22) will confirm the meeting has been sent to Salesforce.
To view and edit the meeting data in Salesforce, navigate to Salesforce.com on a web browser; locate the same record that was sent from the SalesKit app.
The meeting data will appear under Activity History with the subject SalesKit Meeting Recording (23).
The user can then click on the meeting subject to view additional details sent from the app and edit any information.
